“Project Management for Accidental Project Managers”

About Us Me

First off, by "us" I mean me. Maybe someday I'll have fellow Project Champions on my team but as of now, you're learning from my 25+ years (I know I look so young!!!... Stop... no really, stop...) of experience in Project Management and other related work. (Program Management, Product Management, Operations, and Therapist).

I have helped to build out PMO's (Project Management Offices) at several companies throughout my career and have had the honor of teaching so many different people, at all levels of jobs and careers, how to manage projects. You see, it turns out, that ALL jobs need this skill set. And it also turns out that ALL jobs are just a form of babysitting!

The PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) is an incredibly thorough set of processes, terminology, frameworks, etc. I have nothing against it except that it is overkill for most people who are "Accidental Project Managers."
