Are you an "Accidental" Project Manager? Did your regular job turn into owning (and running) a project?
Don't Worry! You are already a Project Manager! You ask, "Shanna, what do you mean?"
LETππ» ME ππ» SHOW ππ» YOU

Lightweight PM gives you the tools you need to to think and work like a Project Manager. This is not a PMP course, and this is not a new tool, this is simply straight forward, no fuss, project management that works and will help you get things done!
Establishing if you do or do not have a sanctioned project is critical! Does it have $$, does it have people, does it have support? Let's dig in and find out so we can get going!
Fundamentally, Project Management is a Communications job. The sooner you establish who is involved, how, and who wants to know what you're up to, the better.
Get formal about it. I'll show you why the Project Charter (sounds scary) is the most important document in a project! Define what DONE means. You'll thank me for it.
There are no actual executions here, that would be bad... and illegal.. but, this is where life can get mundane. You can successfully and simply complete projects. And, you will be a HERO!

Shit has to get done, and someone needs to make a plan! But, I did get my PMP (Project Management Professional) certification through PMI.org in 2012 and have kept that puppy up to date with continuing education and hundreds of completed (and of course some cancelled, failed, and forgotten) projects.
If you're really interested, you can look at my resume..... it's a little weird, but you're welcome to it.
Because, you already do it everyday! You have the skills, you just need to know how to apply them methodically and boldly!
NEVER. So, find a coping mechanism. I often have a beer and complain to my poor husband. He will tell me to find my inner stoic and I will imagine myself punching him in the throat.
If, however, we find an answer to this age old question, we will post it.
I'm glad you asked... yes.
No, I don't... because project management skills are applicable to all industries. If you want to be in IT, you will need to know, or learn, IT. If you want to be in Construction (read prior example) you will need to know Construction. But these skills KICK ASS and WILL help you improve at ANY job in ANY industry.
Let's be honest, if you're asking, there probably isn't anywhere to go but up. But, here is the scoop, being organized, having a plan, having consent and buy in... these are all VERY sexy things. I have high hopes for you.
